• 🫶 Meet my Chinese friend Ug-lee: There is not only hate but also hope & love on the internet. This Chinese guy turned his life around with the help of strangers on the internet - to be fair, those strangers were mainly women… But good news for you - it’s not too late to look handsome and find the love of your life 😉

🤑 How to get rich or die trying

• 🤑 Millennials crushing it: Millennials have been crushing it as investors on the stock market. The wealth of 18-40-year-olds went up by +80% from 2019 to 2023. So what’s your excuse for underperforming? Dodgecoin? Gamestop? #hodl

• 📈 NVIDIA: What a run. NVIDIA is up ~277% YOY (+1.856% 5years, +16.848% 10years) and now the 4th most valued company in the world. It is only surpassed by Microsoft (#1), Apple (#2) & SaudiAramco (#3). Let’s go AI - may the bubble never burst. And thanks for not telling me to buy NVIDIA 10 years ago, Dad!!

• 🤖 OpenAI: OpenAI reaches $80B valuation in venture firm deal. A nearly 3x increase in value from just 9 months ago ranking it the highest valued tech startup in the world behind ByteDance (TikTok) and SpaceX. 😱 

• 🩴 Birkenstock: All you hipsters out there - keep driving the share price up. Birkenstock is up ~42% 5 month post its IPO trading at a market cap of $9.8B. Who would have thought that sandals embodying cereals and organic products would by worth that much?!

• 🤖 Sora: What is going on at OpenAI?! You can now create an AI-animated video by entering text prompts. Hopefully, they’ll soon be able to automate myself so my alter-AI-ego is able to attend those boring Teams meetings we have to endure all day… Nice little review by Marques Brownlee.

• 🥽 What the Zuck: Thanks to Mark Zuckerberg for another stellar performance. It is always good to compare your product to a competitor… not. Enjoy watching everybody’s most favorable robot nerd out there.

• 💍 Apple ring: An apple a day keeps the doctor away… Thats probably what Tim Apple Cook thought when apple started working on the apple smart ring. Are we seeing yet one more thing later this year?!”

• 🎾 DFL says no: The DFL has called off the investor talks after fans throughout Germany’s stadiums were protesting it. (Handelsblatt 🇩🇪 )

• ⚽️ Bayern: Another week, another defeat. And now the coach will be gone latest by end of the season. Bye bye Tuchel. Will Peter Neururer take over?! Let’s see what Bayern will do next.
  

  

• 🇫🇷 Mbappé: Mbappé is leaving PSG. Will he join Real or not?! €150M signing fee and sun all year round would convince me.

• 🛹 Skyboarding: Is that even a word, dude?! OK, you got me. Maybe not. But it should be. Watch the insane Jay Alvarrez skateboard in the sky and then sykdive of the ramp.

🍿 … & chill

• 🏢 The Office: Short episodes, a lot to laugh about, and a disappointing chef. “That’s what she said.” Watch the all time classic office comedy and never-ending fountain of memes, gifs & quotes on Netflix (IMDB 9.0).

• ☀️ Dune part II: Probably the most anticipated movie of 2023 and now 2024. Thanks to the writer’s strike. Go watch Part I (Trailer / IMDB 8.0) and then Part II (Trailer). And don’t tell me I didn’t recommend it to you!!

• ❄️ Society of the snow: Watch the plane crash of a rugby team on a glacier in the Andes and their crazy fight to survive. Not for the light-hearted out there but definitely worth a watch if you ask me (Trailer / IMDB 7.8).

• 🤯 Or just watch the Shmonguss on Netflix… 😱

• 🏙️ Popular destinations: Find out the best time of the year to visit your favorite location. If you wanna get away now, it’s either Rome, Paris or Vegas. All good locations to get down on one knee and finally propose 💍 You are welcome 🙏

• 🍮 Tiramisu: Do I need to say more?!?! Well, just in case. Dating back at least to the Roman Empire, people had arguments over the best tiramisu recipe. And still today, who doesn’t like or has an opinion on the best dessert out there?!? Not being biased here… Try the best and only recipe you will ever need. 🇮🇹 🤌 You can thank me later 😉 (Sueddeutsche 🇩🇪)
